Pizzology – Pizza & Burger Takeaway

DO NOT BUY THE LOW CARB PIZZA BASE BECAUSE IT IS NOT LOW CARB! I went in earlier this week after finding out they did a low carb pizza base, and spoke to someone on the phone and confirmed they had a low carb pizza base. After taking it home and trying it, it tasted too good to be a low carb base. I then went in and asked to see the nutrition and it turns out they are just using the gluten free pizza base and selling it as “low carb” when it is definitely not, it had around 100g of carbs per base. I tried to explain to the manager of the place that it isn’t a low carb base and he made absolutely no effort to reconcile the situation or understand me. He just passed off the blame to his supplier saying he ordered low carb bases and this was what they sent him. For someone with health concerns and can only eat certain types of food, this is a very disappointing experience as the take-away did absolutely no due diligence on ensuring that the food they serve is actually what they say it is. I am appalled at the unprofessionalism displayed by this establishment and it’s staff. I will definitely not be returning.
