Plank Provisions

We had a wonderful experience at Plank Provisions. The food was delicious, and the service was excellent. The dishes have interesting flavors and are plated beautifully. Lots of gluten free options, even dessert! The only thing I would change is the temperature of the chocolate peanut butter dessert. It was frozen solid when we got it, which made it difficult to eat. The flavor would be so much more enjoyable if it wasn't so hard. But we loved our dinner and will return whenever we're in town.

There's no question that the food here is excellent. But I think it's inexcusable for a nice restaurant to not have a couple gluten-free replacement options. You've got all these amazing appetizers but no gluten-free crackers? You can't find a room on your stock shelves for two boxes of crackers? It makes me sad.

I've been here a few times, mostly with co-workers in town for dinner. I think it's a good spot to take those who like seafood. Most recently I went with a large group of us so we were able to use their backroom, and they had a nice prix fixe meal available to use. They were able to accommodate everyone's needs, as we had some gluten free and vegetarian dietary restrains as part of our group.
