Playa Bowls

Gluten free and they were great about making sure my bowl was marked. No reactions whatsoever. 10/10

I enjoy acai bowls, I just wish that there was another establishment that sold this type of food. I'm tired of paying extra for extra granola or peanut butter and not getting it. There's also another huge problem - I always order a bowl that has gluten-free granola due to a family member having a gluten allergy and I always specifically ask for this bowl to be labeled. Yet, it's almost always a guessing game when I get my order because the staff rarely ever put that label. This not only careless but potentially dangerous. I believe these substitutes are offered for a reason, no? The girls on staff treat me as if I'm a nuisance when I point out the lack of a label, which I always do politely. Not only that but it seems as if their personal conversations trump customer service. I'm constantly left waiting while they chat behind the counter. I see the same complaint in other reviews. It's past time that a conversation with the staff was had about this. Or get a new staff.
