We ate here on the 21/4/25. It was the worst meal I’ve ever had. I ordered a gluten free chicken burger and my husband and daughter ordered steaks. It took 40 minutes to receive our meals apparently due to my gluten free chips taking longer than normal chips. The place was not busy. When our food arrived I had a dry chicken breast sandwiched between 2 slices of gluten free bread with a basket of rubbery chips and a wee dish of relish. Not a bit of salad in sight. It was awful. Dry and tasteless. I told the waitress when she came over then again when I went to the bar as we were leaving. She said there wasn’t anything she could do as there was no manager. So I had no choice but to pay £18 for an inedible burger. I messaged the inn on the night of the visit via their website but they haven't had the decency to respond to me. My husband and daughter were not well after their food for a few days. My husband started throwing up 40 min after eating. I would not recommend this place. It’s a shame as it’s got potential.
