The original school door as their entrance, the marching band memorabilia, the chandelier, the bakery, the bar, the friendly staff, AND THE FOOD all contributed to a great experience. I enjoyed their breakfast before teeing off at Mustang Creek Golf Course. Two items immediately impressed me. One was the sausage links. Honestly, I've never eaten any sausage as authentic and delicious as these sausages. The second item was their sourdough toast. As a sourdough fanatic from San Francisco, I'm almost always disappointed with the quality of sourdough bread served in restaurants. Not here! This sourdough toast was moist, sour, thick and absolutely delicious! I visited a second time for dinner. I brought my foodie gluten sensitive grandson with me this time. We both were once again super impressed with the gourmet quality of our food. I had the turkey, cheddar, bacon sandwich and he had the miso salmon filet. He orders salmon all the time so he is a bit of an aficionado concerning salmon. He repeatedly stated that their salmon was the best he has ever eaten. John, the manager recommended their bun on my sandwich. As a self proclaimed bread addict, I loved every bite of their bun! John, the manager has a great personality and gives the restaurant dining experience a unique flare. He is super attentive and is very proud of their food offerings.

My boyfriend and I made a day trip to Taylor and decided to stop at Plowman’s. We started with the pulled pork nachos which were ✨incredible✨. I could barely eat my gluten free club sandwich after. My boyfriend got a hot slice of apple pie with icecream(which he devoured). John came back and asked if I was able to steal a bite. I told him I was gluten free so unfortunately not. After we paid and boxed up our leftovers John brought us a slice of their flourless chocolate cake which was INCREDIBLE! John was an amazing server and made our day and trip very memorable and special! Thank you for the cake and kindness!

11 out of 10. Really great restaurant. Food is fabulous, service was great, portions large & prices are reasonable. Gluten free food and the waitress was informed to keep our meal safe. Old school, redecorated in a lovely atmosphere. Cold AC.
