Poke for the People

This was the best poke we had on Oahu, hands down. The fish was obviously very fresh, so tender and flavorful. The various options they gave for flavors were great so we had choices. Very knowledgable and accommodating for gluten free. Will be thinking about poke for the people for a long time after we leave Hawaii.

Poke for the People was a delicious and fresh Poke spot located in the North shore of Oahu. My friend and I went for lunch on a weekday, and it was busy but the line moved fast. I was happy to see there were plenty of gluten free options. I have Celiac, and the staff were careful to avoid cross contamination and make sure my food was safe! I got the blue marlin poke (flavored with a creamy roasted garlic and sesame sauce). The fish was fresh and flavorful. The toppings were good too! I especially liked the purple sweet potato mash. The ratio of fish, toppings, and rice was well-balanced. Steps away from many cute boutiques and surf shops, Poke for the People is a good choice for lunch after an afternoon of shopping and exploring the nearby Banzai Pipeline. Note: There is indoor and outdoor seating. Street parking is limited- my friend and I parked at a shopping center 5 minutes away and walked to the restaurant.

Wow, some of the best poke I have had. Also, lots of gluten free options which was such a big plus since my son and I are gluten free. Service was the best. Staff was friendly and uber helpful.
