The location was fantastic, and the Italian food was delicious. I really enjoyed dining outside, and they were accommodating by making veggie pesto spaghetti even though it wasn't on the menu. The atmosphere was relaxed, and it was perfect to take a walk downtown on a sunny day after lunch.

When I have a craving for Italian food, Pompeii is always my first choice. I ordered the linguine alle vongole and I really enjoyed it. The sauce had a great flavor and wasn't too watery. The linguine was cooked perfectly al dente. We also tried the fried calamari and it was delicious. The batter was crispy and didn't come loose, and it wasn't overly oily. This restaurant definitely knows how to do it right. It's still my favorite Italian restaurant to go to.
