The food was good, a little pricey but it was nice. Had good gluten-free options for my partner, who is coeliac. They have a separate fryer.

Had dinner here. Very tasty food and a nice atmosphere. Great gluten free selection and attentive staff checking with the kitchen for gluten etc. Enjoyable evening!

Putting this on here for any ceoliacs to make sure they ask that the things marked Gluten Free on the menu are gluten free 🙄 I ordered the chicken kebab, which was labelled GFA (gluten free available). I checked that the chips were made in a different fryer, told the waitress it was ceoliac / allergy, so all good. No one asked if we wanted to order dessert, so I tried to wave someone over. The first person is saw gave me direct eye contact so I waved at him and then he walked in the opposite direction. So I asked an older waiter who brushed me off twice during our visit. We finally got our original waitress. I ordered the ice cream Sunday that was marked GF (gluten free) and it came out with an obviously not-gf biscuit wafer in it. I told the waiter to see if it was gf, so he took it back to the kitchen and just took the wafer out and handed back to me. I could see the line where the wafer had sat. I tried to call over the manager but the original waitress came over took the large sunday and came back with a much smaller one which was missing half of the original ingredients that she told me (and it was obvious) that she just quickly plopped together. She told me I should have told her I needed gluten-free (which I had told her I had ceoliac when I ordered my main).. basically blaming me for something labelled gluten-free not coming out as gluten-free.. to which I said the menu says its gluten free so it should come out gluten-free without needing to request it. I later asked for the manager, and they sent me to this woman who said she had already talked to the kitchen, that the kitchen was wrong (as was what the waitress said to me). I emphasised it wasn't just the kitchen she needed to talk to but also the waitress who blamed me for them not giving me something gluten free (when it was labelled gf) and the daft kid who though it was safe and OK to just pull the wafer out , which leaves the Sunday contaminated with an allergen. She applologised. Didn't offer a refund for the Sunday, although I did say i wasn't asking for one but was saying this as more of a wtf for any future ceoliacs that visit because... wtf was that. Three stars instead of one because the food tasted good and the woman apologised for the fiasco of service. But still.. wtf.
