My husband and I came here for lunch after much anticipation of him wanting to try the food. I am gluten free and checked the website ahead of time to see if there was anything I could also enjoy. If there wasn't, I would have eaten at home beforehand, but there was an allergens summary on their website, and although it didn't include much for gluten free (which I expected) they did have one or two options. When I went to order at the restaurant, I was told that they absolutely can not serve anyone who's gluten free. I explained that the website listed allergens and was told the "website is probably out of date." The server went and spoke to the manager who said they weren't comfortable serving me. I thought it was poor management that the manager themself didn't come speak to us. The server was quite loud which made it embarrassing to be told I wouldn't be served. Eating out is always a risk with dietary needs, so my choosing to eat out in the first place is my choice to risk cross contamination. We had traveled quite a ways, so my husband kept his order. His food was good, but not worth the travel or cost for one person to eat. Very disappointing experience.
