Poppies

Congratulations Poppies... you're my first review as a wheelchair user! Accessibility is fine, although you do have to get through the garden centre and shop. The café is table service and the staff are attentive but not intrusive. We all had paninis. An extra bowl of chips was added for the table but, to be honest, there was enough salad and tortilla chips that came with the sandwiches anyway. The paninis themselves were great. Could've done with more cheese for my personal taste but Mum and Dad were fine with theirs. Sweet-wise there was a huge array on the counter, about half of which were gluten-free and/or vegan if that's your thing. The meringues were massive. We took some to go. Overall, Poppies is a great place for an upmarket lunch if you fancy more than just a bacon roll, or if you don't want to go all the way into Oban.
