Poppylands is my favourite place to eat when I am in the area, as they cater for gluten free, vegetarian and vegan diets. The food and drinks are always excellent, as is the service. I love all of the 1940's memorabilia and music. You must visit the little shop on site too - really good value and a great selections of gifts and sweets.

Second visit. Food was very average. I had a gluten free breakfast but the sausage was totally inedible because it was totally overcooked (I'm assuming deep fat fried from the texture) and flabby thick bacon. The tea was great though - nice big pot with a cute wartime knitted warmer. A nice shop in the grounds too.
