So we were looking for a place to eat in Haliburton and the person that I was traveling with had gluten intolerance. Mexican food is always a safe choice. Our GPS told us to go to Poco Loco but we only saw an antique shop. As it turns out, the Mexican restaurant is located in the antique shop. Simply charming and the area is huge, including the eating area AND the entire antique market(s).
The food was tasty, generous and nicely priced. Perhaps this is the best place to eat in Haliburton if you love food and antiques. The staff is friendly and we had a blast, both for the food and the merchandise.
