Portage Bay Cafe

The food was delicious and the portions were huge!!! The atmosphere was hectic even early in the Sonday morning. But I will recommend here for a quick breakfast. Also tons of vegetarian and gluten-free options!!

I very much enjoyed my breakfast here, we came multiple times and it was really good. The lemon ricotta pancakes are so yummy and the fruit bar is so nice that they're fresh and can top up however you want Coffee is good and I very much enjoyed the grapefruit juice. Nice place, especially liked the blankets outside for when it is cold. We stayed at a hotel nearby, and it was nice that we could walk to this place, very cozy and good food, especially happy about the vegan and gluten free options. If I ever come back to Seattle, would definitely come here. Would recommend 🙏

Always crowded because it's one of the few brunch places in Seattle. The vegan options aren't great, and the staff doesn't always know what is vegan. The only vegan pancake option is also gluten free, and is gummy/mushy. The toppings bar for pancakes doesn't have vegan alternatives for butter, whip cream or chocolate chips. It really feels like someone felt forced to add vegan options and they really don't care about the quality
