While exploring St. Ives Harbour, after a Googling for sea food place, we stumbled upon a hidden gem: Porthminster Kitchen. This charming restaurant, though not immediately noticeable, offers a delightful culinary experience.
The restaurant's interior is modern with a beautiful designed old wood frammed fireplace that creates a relaxed dining atmosphere.
However, the entrance to the second floor dining area could be better marked to attract more guests.
Food:
The menu at Porthminster Kitchen features a creative and diverse selection of dishes. We started with the Korean Fried Cauliflower and a custom salad, both beautifully presented and bursting with flavor.
For our mains, we had the Roasted Hake Fillet and the Whole Cornish Sole, which were cooked to perfection and showcased the freshness of the ingredients.
To finish, the Crispy Rice Pudin with Coconut Sorbet was a delightful and refreshing dessert, particularly appealing to vegan and gluten-free diners.
Service:
The service was attentive and friendly, adding to the overall enjoyable experience. Our server was knowledgeable about the menu and made recommendations based on our preferences.
We highly recommend!! Yummy 😋🤤
