Portofino

Lovely experience at Portofino. The portion sizes were very generous and the staff were very friendly. The food was delicious and we will definitely be coming back to try more. They also catered for vegans and gluten free vegans which was a great bonus as two of our party are vegan (they don’t specify this on the menus but the staff were very accommodating). They had gluten-free pizza bases and egg-free pasta if you’d want this, but you’d need to specify. We definitely recommend coming here if you’re nearby.

I have been patronizing this business for over 20 years for an authentic Italian experience. Take Out section is so convenient but because they switch out chefs frequently the food can be hit and miss. Just a few nights ago they were out of gluten free pasta, so I could not order my usual. Frustratingly, I could not order my back up dish either because they were out of advocados as well. Multiple times I have been handed the wrong order, not discovering until I was long home...now I ask them to show me inside the container before I leave. Kudos to the staff who are out shining the flaws and inconsistencies of others. Good luck - Let's do better Bermuda 😊
