My wife has celiac disease. To set the table, we went to two different restaurants before coming to Poseidon one evening and both ended up being disasters, one telling us after the food arrived that they “have no idea” what ingredients are in a certain item on the plate. We got up from the table and left. I arrived at Poseidon and immediately spoke with the GM Misty and told her about our night. She reassured us that she would oversee the entire preparation of our meal and ensure everything in her power would be done to prevent cross contamination for my wife. Not only was the food delicious and prepared safely, but Misty brought us a gluten free dessert on the house when our meal was finished. Paying for the mistakes of other restaurants in order to give us a spectacular experience is something I haven’t seen at a restaurant in a very long time. We were absolutely blown away by the level of care and service provided to us last night. We will 100% be returning every time we visit Hilton Head.
