Update: The owner contacted me, by responding to my review, as well as via email, and did likely everything they could to address my complaints. While I do really appreciate getting a refund to more than cover the missing items, I am most impressed that they appropriately addressed my bigger frustration, which was having enough things go wrong that I felt a need to complain/ alert them in the first place. They acknowledged my concerns, and then shared the steps they’re taking to keep those issues from continuing.
Independent of the problems we’ve had on the last few visits, the food and drinks at Posie’s are really good. I’m glad to say that we’ll be back, confident that we’re going to get the fresh goodies this neighborhood favorite is known for. And if we do run into any issues in the future, I also feel confident that they’ll make it right.
Original review: The breakfast sandwiches here are pretty tasty, and they have gluten free options, but I don’t think we’ll be back. On 2 different pickup orders, they forgot to add the avocado, which they charge extra for, and on another order, I got a slice of gf pumpkin bread with a nickel-sized spot of mold on it. So we stopped ordering. But my partner really wanted to order here today, so I even included a note about the issues we’ve previously had and asked that they double check the items in our order. They still failed to add the bacon on one sandwich, which costs extra, then gave me a slice of pumpkin bread that smelled burnt, and yet again, was moldy.
There is nowhere on their website to message or email them, so I’m hoping this review will get their attention, and/or save someone else from not getting things they pay for and receiving moldy food.
