Premier Inn Banbury (M40, J11) hotel

Fantastic premier inn, the room was clean and tidy. The staff were lovely especially Kate who was helpful regarding the food. My husband has celiac so has to have strict gluten free diet. She went through all the breakfast items he could have and even got the chef to cook his breakfast separately. Amazing service.

The receptionist was not particularly welcoming compared to other Premiers we have stayed at. We had to get the room access cards changed as they didn't work which we also found at another Premier. The room was fine but another guest told us they had rejected it due to a smell which must have been sorted before we arrived. The restaurant now has a non gluten containing ingredient menu which is a great improvement. Well done Premier. There seemed to be a shortage of staff generally and the staff didn't seem particularly happy which does make a difference even if they don't know it.
