Would be 5 stars, but as a long time client with celiac, I am so so disappointed that they have stopped taking gluten free seriously. I have been eating here many times for years with no issues. The food is absolutely delicious! Sadly, I went on Wednesday for lunch. I got a California burger on a gluten free bun. When I opened it I was concerned because it looked like a normal bun, so I went back to the window to check. The girl in the window told me it looked like their gluten free buns, but would go check with the chef. She came back and said that it was gluten free. Because I have eaten here safely so many times before, I ate it thinking they had new buns… and I’ve been sick since. I still figured it had to be something else since I trust them- but I went back today to get food for my family and the gf bun was the old usual gf bun and the regular bun is definitely the one I ate. And they look nothing alike! Looked up recent GF reviews and apparently there has been a huge downturn with safety efforts, so it’s not just me. I’m so sad to lose my favorite restaurant, but I hope to save some other regulars from getting sick.

I have celiac and ordered two sandwiches with gluten free buns (along with fries and drinks). The server didn't call out that the vegan chicken inside is coated with gluten. It was very disappointing later to find out that i had been glutened. The server team should understand that nobody would pay extra for gluten free buns to eat gluten anyways. It has been a week and I am struggling with really bad stomach upset. I had a chat with the server, he did apologize and refunded the amount I paid for just that "one" sandwich. They definitely lacked the understanding that celiac is pretty serious and what being glutened can mean for someone who has to observe very strict dietary regulations.
