We were in York for a medical procedure and wanted to eat before heading home. I've never heard of Primanti Bros. so I didn't have a frame of reference. Personally, the menu selection doesn't work for me because I'm Gluten free for medical reasons - but I'm not judging based on that. If you like piled high deli sandwiches, burgers, fries, you will like this restaurant. It's a really cool industrial looking interior with interesting paraphernalia on the walls and even an antique bicycle hanging from the ceiling. A huge bar is central with seating on all four sides of the rectangular bar. There are huge flat screen TV's hanging so it has a sports bar feel. My husband chose the Turkey Cheese club sandwhich which was piled high with fresh turkey breast cut fresh daily so it's not lunch meat; it's legit turkey and it was topped with coleslaw and served in between two large sour dough slices of bread. It looked yummy and he liked it. He also ordered as an appetizer the boneless chicken thighs with blue cheese dressing and that was delicious. I thought ordering a big salad would give me the best meal since I have to stay away from the bread. I share a picture but it was honestly pretty gross. I've had Black & Bleu Salads before, but this had french fries in the salad (I love french fries but not in my salad); there was no bleu cheese taste whatsoever, and the steak was just full of gristle. I really should have sent it back for something else but I wasn't very hungry so I didn't say anything. I don't think it's worth a low rating because it's just not a restaurant that accommodates my dietary restrictions and that's not their fault (except for the salad - it was gross). The server was nice and efficient. Their strengths are probably bar food and big New York/New Jersey type sandwiches. The Reuben looked so good. If that's your thing, I'd say this is a great choice. (And you probably aren't going there for a salad anyway.)
