Went here for my birthday and was the best steak I’ve eaten, They catered for me who suffers with gluten and dairy so made the experience even better, Would definitely come back.

Perfect in every way. We went lunchtime Sunday and it was quiet. We were welcomed to a table with ample space for our two babies and high chairs already laid out for us. Given time to choose drinks, and warned one menu item was on limited supply so we reserved the remainder of them. The Wellington was above and beyond 5* delicious by all accounts, including the word exquisite being used at the table. My tomahawk steak was fabulous, the meat second to none AND the waiter popped back specifically to ask if I’d like a new hot rock just as it was starting to cool down and I had a couple of slices left. Perfect. Only slightly tricky thing was no spoons for the tiny sauce/oil dishes - I should’ve asked I’m sure they would’ve obliged right away. Steak knives didn’t really do that job so well… Service was bubbly and friendly without skipping a beat - everything requested was brought quickly. We were brought sample glasses for a mini wine tasting to help choose between two bottles (we didn’t even ask and certainly didn’t expect that delight!) to help with a difficult choice. Also our main waitress noticed my partner wobbling one of the tables and immediately and discretely propped it up without mention. We were delighted to leave what felt like a sizeable tip for service I haven’t had in a restaurant since dining in South Africa. We found the mountain man an excellent Malbec to accompany our beef. Shooting blanks is well worth ordering for the novelty and aroma of smoking Rosemary at the table, but the flavour after a few minutes elevated an otherwise simple drink. Sweet potato wedges were crispy and soft and delicious. Creamed veg perfectly crisp. The kids loved the garlic bread. It truly felt like we stepped into another world for an afternoon, where people genuinely looked after our every need. A note on allergies - I have lots. Dairy, gluten, soy, oats, coriander, peanuts. This restaurant not only catered for me, but repeated my own list back to me unprompted when I took my seat, to double check they had it correct. I have never felt in safer hands at a restaurant. Dessert. They made me a classic allergen friendly Eton mess. However. The contrast between small crunchy meringue and larger soft meringue was inspired, as were the blobs of saucy deliciousness that brought the dish together perfectly. I would happily have ordered a second one! Not on the menu but they made it to suit my allergies. Fondant delicious. Sparkle of passion… NEXT LEVEL!! The aroma. I wish I could’ve taken that aroma home. Mango ice cream was solid and insanely mango flavoured, truly delicious. We all came away feeling looked after, stuffed, delighted with our afternoon and like we created a really beautiful tribute to our late relative’s life. Thank you Prime, we will be back.
