This is a really great old London pub with lots of history and and fantastic atmosphere. Unfortunately the food and service lets it down. Came here on Fathers day and had roast beef which wasn't that warm when it arrived. Meat was dry and the gravy like water, vegetables mediocre. My wife had a steak which was a little tough but her gluten allergy was catered for very well. We were never asked if our meal was satisfactory or if we required dessert so we left and satisfied our sweet tooth elsewhere. I got the impression they were understaffed .
