Proud Mary Cafe

I love this place. My first introduction was through a work brunch (thanks, Tuyen!), and then I came again months later with my husband. He can be hard to impress, but he walked away saying that was some of the finest food he's had in Portland. Personally, I had my "Ratatouille moment". They offer gluten-free and dairy-free options, or they can adjust to accommodate. As someone who has worked in coffee for 7 years, their coffee was good, but definitely something I was more critical of. If the owners see this, I'd love for you guys to check out Dancing Goats in Washington State (I have to give a shoutout in my review). My husband and I will be back! We are also expecting our first baby soon, so maybe he will come along one of these days to experience Proud Mary.

Top notch service, drinks, sweet treats and food. The coffee selection is sure to impress any connoisseur. The latte I had was the best ever. The carrot cake and lemon raspberry dessert were way too good to be gluten free, but they were. The salmon dish was refreshing and savory. This was my second visit here, and I will definitely come back again. The weekday visit was lovely because hardly anyone was inside. Weekend will have a wait. Highly recommend!!
