Great neighborhood restaurant. Gorgeous plates. Great steak. Almost entire menu is gluten free friendly (even the fries!!). Jules is super knowledgeable and friendly. Highly recommend. Sit outside when the weather is nice!

We stumbled upon Provision on one of our regular trips to Montreal and it has instantly become one of our favorite restaurants. What is going on here is very special. Unencumbered by restaurant folklore that some (wonderful) restaurants rely upon, the team at Provision are curating an exceptional, seasonal, locally influenced steak house experience. We fancy ourselves foodies and everything at Provision has been darn near perfect. The quality of the beef and produce is unsurpassed. Fresh. Dynamic. In gracefully yet innovative food artistry they balance richness and acidity, and somehow sneak in a bit of umami. Every time we eat steak at home or another restaurant, we come back to our experiences at Provision as our benchmark. We’ve eaten at quite a few of Montreal’s top accolade restaurants and Provision routinely ends up in our top 3 favorites. And the price point cannot be beat for the quality. I have celiac and the staff and kitchen have a good understanding of what is safe for me and what is not. Most of the menu is adaptable to gluten free preparation.
