Proximo

One of the best, most memorable meals I’ve had. Everything dish simple, fresh, and thoughtfully crafted. Service was perfect, elevated yet personable. Tons of gluten free options, and they took care of my allergy without making it feel burdensome. The wine recommendations were spot on. I’ve traveled through Spain, and these were the best patatas bravas I’ve ever had. I am someone who generally finds deserts overrated, but don’t skip on dessert. I’ll be thinking about this experience for a while! What a special spot!

My first trip to Proximo, and what a delight. We sat at the counter in front of the open kitchen. Tapas were terrific (with a full gluten free menu), a nice wine selection, and great service. Informal vibe that's perfect for a tapas menu. And a parking deck the next street over (essential for downtown Chapel Hill.) We'll be back.
