I'm giving them 5 stars because the staff was amazing, clearly working very hard, and our group of 10 had a very nice Easter dinner. Plus, it was Easter and this restaurant not only does an Easter buffet, they actually manage to serve lunch and dinner to about 500 people every year. It's really amazing and we appreciate having the ability to go to a restaurant that offers more than a buffet because my dad has celiac and my niece can't have dairy. The only real problem we experienced was that my sons salmon dish was raw. We didn't say anything to the staff at the time because everyone else had finished eating and he just wanted to get to dessert. And speaking of desserts, this is really why you should go to Public Landing! The bread pudding is so good it will make your grandchildren cry. The chocolate mousse is like heaven on a plate. And the kids love the caramel turtle basket. There are no dairy free desserts so my niece can't have anything, but she's used to that happening when we eat out. I also wanted to say "Thank you" to the staff there because they allowed us to change our party from 9 people to 10 and the last minute. Their service really is fantastic and for me, that's about 80% of my dining experience right there. If you nail that, you can do a lot of other things wrong and I'll still be happy.
