Atmosphere was ok. Very overcrowded inside. Card only. What’s the point of having a gluten free cookie if you are going to put it next to the non gluten free cookies? Staff was not educated about which drinks were gluten free. Also, what was the straw made of and why wasn’t there a different choice for a straw for people with allergies or sensitivities? If you are going to say that you have gluten free foods then train your staff to do better or don’t carry gluten free foods. There are better places in Sarasota. Skip if you have any food allergies or sensitivities.

The aesthetics of this place is on point. Food is good but the perfect egg sandwich did lack depth of flavor but quality of ingredients was great. Veggie omelet was delicious with avocado toast and arugula.Many gluten-free options on the menu. The GF tahini chocolate cookie was out of this world along with a simple vanilla oatmeal latte.

Absolutely Unacceptable and Dangerous for Anyone with Allergies or Health Conditions We recently stayed in Siesta Key and, as loyal customers of Pura Vida who eat there 2–3 times per week, we made a special effort to drive an hour to this location, trusting it would uphold the same standards. Unfortunately, what we experienced was shocking negligence—especially from a business that markets itself as “healthy” while charging premium prices (and still serving food in plastic, by the way). I have severe dietary restrictions due to a recent surgery—specifically no soy, gluten, or dairy. I communicated this multiple times over two consecutive days to the same employee: a young blonde woman with blue eyes working under a manager named John (if I recall correctly). And yet—I was still served food containing allergens I explicitly told them I could not have. The exact ingredients I said I must avoid were in the food I was given. I ended up in the hospital during what was supposed to be a relaxing vacation. To make matters worse, there’s no direct phone number to reach this location to even speak to someone about what happened. For a brand that claims to care about wellness, this level of irresponsibility is appalling. If you have serious allergies, dietary restrictions, or health concerns—DO NOT trust this place with your wellbeing. What happened to me was not just careless; it was dangerous.
