Found this by accident when staying nearby. Lovely outdoor seating, perfect for warm summer evenings. Had excellent food from gluten free menu and real ale. Pleasant staff, very personable manager, Frank.

I ate a meal in the Puss In Boots during a friend's wedding celebration. The food was well cooked, plentiful and the staff were attentive and knowledgeable. It's the first time I'd eaten there but it won't be the last! Our daughter can't have gluten and the staff there were extremely helpful when I inquired about gluten free food. The system they have in place will ensure that there is no cross contamination for her. Very reassuring! We'll be back soon!
