QI Austin: Modern Asian Kitchen

QI has it all in spades: - A wonderful, calming atmosphere - Friendly and helpful (yet never overbearing) service (Trey is stellar) - A large menu with a wide array of options - Clearly-labeled gluten-free options that do not compromise when it comes to flavor (an extraordinary rarity for this cuisine - many thanks to the head chef’s attention to detail) - Beautiful plating; some dishes look almost too good to eat - The perfect temperature to escape a hot Texas evening

One of the rare Chinese restaurants with gluten free options! My partner and I were incredibly impressed with everything we tried. Crispy dumplings (made from rice flour), truffle egg fried rice, salt and pepper tofu and fly me to the blue moon for dessert. It was all better than a Michelin star restaurant we recently went to.
