Quarterdeck

This was an amazing place to visit. If you picked it up and dropped it into Melbourne, I wouldn't be able to tell the difference. The Mexican food was amazing, the service was on point and the atmosphere was perfect. Although the menu did not state any gluten free options, the wait staff knew the menu back to front and were able to explain what was suitable for my celiac partner. The bar staff were able to recommend cocktails that paired with each element of the dishes and the food overall was fantastic. I'll be dreaming about that steak for weeks. I left feeling full but not heavy, this is a gem in a quiet town.

The cocktails were unreal however alot of the menu items were unavailable. I was dining with a friend who has coeliac and when she was asking for safe meal options she was treated very poorly by the waitresses and ended up very unwell from eating the food. At the end of the meal the owner and the mixologist were very nice and gave our kids lots of fruit treats which was very nice, and also fish food to go down the jetty and feed the fish.
