This was a unique experience. We choose the 8-course menu. My husband is gluten-free and they handled that well. The service was incredible. I loved some of the food, like the octopus, but some was just not for me. (They made sorbet out from tomatoes to rhubarb, which I did not enjoy.) We would have enjoyed the experience more if we were not so overheated. We sat in the corner downstairs and we were sweating through our clothes. We actually skipped the last course because I was feeling lightheaded. (I know, I know. Americans can't handle the lack of AC in Europe.)

2 appetizers - fish, cream of mushrooms, egg on squid ink shortbread, good mix although it is a little salty - smoked fish with garlic cream on focaccia, quite good 4 types of bread to choose from - with squid ink and sesame - with cereals (my favorite) - White bread - gluten-free bread The starter with the trout and the white asparagus from the Landes and its Hollandaise sauce, I couldn't come up with a coherent connection with the sauce, the asparagus and the trout... for my part the starter was of no interest For the main course, with the turkey and the potato mousse, it was really well cooked. Everything went very well together, especially the bread croutons which gave a little crunch to the texture but it's a shame that there were a few vegetables missing to give a little crunch to the dish. Dessert with cactus sorbet and dark chocolate tartlet was a great discovery. This chocolate-cactus mixture went very well together.
