I LOVED Rare!! Our server was fantastic and came back a few times just to triple check he got our allergies correct because he kept second guessing himself lol. I appreciated it immensely that he was being so careful. So many things on the menu are either gluten free by default or can be made gluten free. I’d say almost everything besides like lasagna, gnocchi, and maybe a few other things. We started with calamari and the Brussels sprouts which were both gluten free and OMG they were divine! Crispy and a little spicy and just delicious. I hadn’t had calamari in about 4 years and that was a real treat. They probably use corn starch because it was very crispy and the chili honey was phenomenal. Then for my entree I had a gluten free pizza. The crust was 5/5 stars and though it was a thin crust like most gf crusts it was delicious. Pretty sure they made it in-house. They used their own burrata they made that morning, and they make their own sauce which wasn’t super acidic like many canned pizza sauces. Pesto was also made by them. Everyone at our table (2 of us gluten free) loved our food. The truffle fries from one of our meals were shared and we all loved them because they were so crispy and felt battered but were also gluten free! I can’t rate them highly enough for the care and attention and quality of the food. We went for happy hour and for 2 appetizers, 4 entrees, and 6 drinks plus a $30 tip we only spent $160ish. That’s incredible for a high end place. Split between 4 people it was well worth it! My only regret is I didn’t take a pic of my pizza because I was so busy devouring it, but here are the calamari and Brussels sprouts.
