We went for an early dinner on a Tuesday and got in with no problem at all. Everyone was really nice, but our waitress Vanessa was the best! They were fast and efficient serving and cleared the tables right on time. As for food, the potato skins were delicious and we even learned that they were invented there! You have to use the sour cream though bc the bacon is hidden in there. The kids meal was cute. They had a menu and crayons for the kids. The menu had just about any kids meal you could think of (chicken fingers, grilled cheese, hot dogs, mac and cheese, etc). Their meals were served on a cafeteria like tray with great kid friendly cups for soda, milk or juice, and animal crackers. Vanessa was very familiar with gluten free and explained everything to us. Most of the items are gluten friendly, so cross contaminated, but she did have other completely gluten free options for those that need it. The fajitas were just ok, so the five stars is for the ambiance and service! The dessert of ice cream and a cookie in the middle looked incredible and my three boys loved it. It was so big they couldn’t even finish it. Thanks for the fun night in Lincoln Park!

The Grunt Burger is one of my favorite burgers in the city! Always consistently done medium and full of flavor. I went here with my boyfriend who has celiac disease and they were very accommodating (as is the case with most Lettuce Entertain You restaurants). Our server was knowledgeable about the gluten free options, and we had a great experience! I love this place’s kooky, laid back vibe (and the menu art)!
