Ruka

I had one of the best dining experiences at Ruka the other evening! As someone with celiac disease who needs to eat gluten free, eating out at restaurants can be stressful for me trying to explain my allergies or determine what on the menu I can eat and whether modifications would be required. They were so understanding and professional about it without making my allergies feel like an inconvenience and were careful with cross contamination and not confusing gluten containing dishes or even those with cross contamination risk with mine as we were a large group/ party. The food was insanely delicious too - the roll with the Asian pear in it was such a surprisingly awesome combination. I will definitely be back - great atmosphere, great food, and most importantly a non stressful and welcoming dining experience for me as they were so attentive and accommodating with allergies and dietary restrictions. A fun fusion restaurant. Peruvian Japanese menu. So delicious! They have Gluten free menu too. The food can be spicy, but they have milk to help out! Very friendly service.

I feel really safe eating here as someone who is gluten free. I appreciate the separate celiac safe menu and the staff shared which option was the allergy safe onee when they brought the food out. We love it here and we'll definitely be back!
