Radisson Blu Resort & Spa, Malta Golden Sands

Fantastic hotel with extremely friendly and service-oriented staff. The rooms are very clean and stylishly furnished. The furnishings, while not ultra-modern in design, are of high quality. Great view of the sea. The breakfast buffet offers a wide selection for everyone. There are even gluten- and lactose-free products available. All buffets are always very tidy and the tables are clean. The same goes for dinner. We had half-board, which included one of the hotel's several restaurants. This also offers a rich appetizer buffet, pasta buffet, soup, main course buffet (theme changes daily), children's buffet, and an absolutely stunning dessert buffet. The service here is also always very friendly and excellent. Everything is clean and tidy. The same goes for the pool areas and the hotel's private beach. No occupied loungers. The beach is relatively small, but staffed, and there are free loungers and umbrellas for hotel guests. The beach is clean and the bay is beautiful for swimming, but there are hardly any fish or plants in the water, meaning no place for snorkeling. A variety of water sports are offered. The hotel also offers a few small shops, including a grocery store, an indoor pool, a jacuzzi, and a gym, as well as a spa with heavenly massages. There's a wide range of entertainment options, but not intrusive, and it's very quiet even after 10 p.m. The hotel grounds are very well-maintained, with many olive trees, palm trees, and colorful blooming flowers. The staff are all extremely friendly, who obviously enjoy their work and offer excellent conditions. I can recommend this hotel to everyone. (We were here at the end of October, so it might be a bit hectic during the summer months.)

I went there for a quick lunch and coffee with a colleague and I was quite disappointed as the menu didn't have the dietary options listed so I ordered the stuffed zucchini flowers and they came with coated with batter when I'm gluten intolerant ... I was very hungry so I decided not to complain but of course I was unwell afterwards... At such a 5* place I would expect that even if it's bar food, the menu should contain all the allergens so the guests would know that they ordering.
