After 10 years, it was wonderful to return to this special place and find it still just as it was. Behind an unremarkable door, just a few steps from the French Embassy, this vegetarian restaurant — also offering gluten-free options — takes you on a flavorful journey that goes beyond meat and fish, yet nourishes and satisfies just as much. I had eggplants stuffed with cheese and almonds in tomato sauce, and an excellent orange cake, all paired with a great glass of local white wine. Fair prices, peaceful atmosphere in the inner garden. Give it a try!

Great place and great food! Falafel and spreads are delicious, and my personal favorite is eggplant with mozzarella in tomato sauce. Portions are large with lots of fresh salad and they have gluten-free options. Pleasant warm, intimate atmosphere.

My favorite restaurant in Belgrade, every time I'm in the city it's a must. I don't know a more welcoming place! The name "Allegria" says it all. Attention to detail, flowers, music and above all slow food. All dishes are vegetarian or vegan with many gluten free options. The internal garden is a real gem to discover and I love that the restaurant is in a real house and without big signs.. it must be discovered! Highly recommended the falafel dish and any dish with salad because the dressing is out of this world.
