Neither my partner nor I had ever tried raising canes before they came to Vancouver, and now we’re hooked. I feel like eating at Raising Canes is affordable and a step up from other fast food places. I think Vancouver definitely needed a place that specializes in good chicken. I have a severe allergy to gluten and dairy, so I ask for naked bird (no breading and in new oil), fries (also separate fryer) and coleslaw. You can sub any side for another, so I do extra fries instead of toast. If you ask they will even do glove changes and ensure to be extra careful. I’ve never had a bad reaction. I live so close to raising canes, and it’s nice to have an allergy friendly place open late. Anytime the order is wrong it’s during a super busy rush, and the manager ensures they make it right immediately through throwing in some extra stuff and many kind apologies. My second most favorite and safest place to eat in Vancouver. 😊
