This is our favorite restaurant in Richmond. The flavors, sauces, and proteins—whether it’s chicken, fish, shrimp, salmon, redfish, flounder, tuna, steaks, center-cut pork, meatloaf, or burgers—are always spot on. Start your meal with a craft cocktail and the spinach and artichoke dip, or try one of the other delicious appetizers, like the Big Daddy Trio meatballs.
It’s hard to choose a favorite entrée, but we especially love the chicken beurre blanc, Cajun chicken pasta, ribeye, shrimp and grits, and the meatloaf. The side dishes are fantastic—collard greens, sautéed veggies, asparagus, dirty rice, Gouda grits, and garlic mashed potatoes are just a few of our top picks.
There’s often a weekend off-menu special and rotating seasonal options, so there’s always something new to enjoy. For a lighter option, any of their salads are a great choice.
Don’t miss the award-winning chili, a signature burger, or one of their incredible desserts. Right now, we’re obsessed with the new gluten-free chocolate cake, but the bread pudding, carrot cake, and hummingbird cake are all equally delicious.
