Upon arriving, we were SO disappointed. Dinner doesn’t start until 5:00pm and NOWHERE on the website does it say that. We almost left, but decided to stay and ordered fish and chips instead, and we are glad we did! The staff went above and beyond to accommodate our disappointment, and while I thought there was no saving dinner, we left laughing and smiling. There were three of us — the biggest foodie I know LOVED the fish and chips (best she’s ever had, hence we’re glad with almost being “forced” to order it when we didn’t think we’d be there for the Wellington) and while she liked the Beef Wellington that we did end up waiting for, the fish and chips was what actually blew her away. Cocktails and mocktails were great, wedge salad was a thumbs up, was very large, and there was enough dressing. Beef Wellington had good crust and was super tender. Mac n cheese was okay. As for my experience, I have MANY allergies (soy, nuts, gluten and dairy) and felt safer eating the food that came out of that kitchen than any restaurant I’ve been to in the last year (that’s how thorough our waiter was). He even talked to the kitchen and was willing to have certain menu items he knew I was interested in prepared to be allergy friendly. They used a gluten free fryer for my fries (restaurant uses canola oil in their fryer). Seriously hats off to all staff. I left feeling good about the experience. Thanks!
