Go for the beer, not the food. I wanted to like this place more than I did. Being gluten intolerant I'm always on the lookout for good gf resturaunts. Their menu sounds great and the fact they also brew gf beer made it a no brainer to try.
The pros:
Nice atmosphere.
Great gf beer
The cons:
Food is lackluster. They try, the menu is informed, inventive, and locally sourced, but the food was on the bland side, tortilla chips overcooked, the smoked fish dip was overly fishy or old, pecorrino fries didn't taste like pecorrino, caramelized onions on a burger were barely cooked and no where near caramelized.
We did eat early in the day, perhaps before the regular chef came in. We might try the food again, but likely we'll eat elsewhere and just go back for a great gf beer.
