Great food, large portions, positive energy
Their corn elote whether on the cob cut in half or in the bowl is one of our favorites. They have perfected it, even my non-vegan friends say it’s their favorite. The cream Topping is soooo good. If you are lactose intolerant, you are in for a treat here. The cheeses are so good, so are the sour cream like creations. The chef is making these himself so they are clean and fresh.
The tacos are huge. They come with flour, but I’ve also had them with corn. Tortillas the potato chorizo is fantastic as is the Al Pastore with the pineapple. We moved the sopes too
My Spanish friends that the churros were great and I love the hostess cupcake.
It’s not too hard to find parking along Halle or around the corner
They are busy so we’d like to come in earlier for dinner. They are opening up for lunch now and of course they’ve got the weekend brunch. I everybody has a great attitude. I can tell they are stretched a little bit at times but that just tells you how good the food is. Given how large the plate sizes, we feel it’s a good value especially because you’re eating so clean.
If you’re sitting here at the speaker, don’t be shy to ask him to turn it down. Gosh, if that’s the only thing I can think of as a suggestion, you know this place is fantastic.
We’ve seen them journey from being takeout only at a window a couple days a week on state street to their shared space and now to their full restaurant. I kind of like it that there are no alcohol options. Yet.
We are so lucky to have this high-quality food here and it’s extra special that it is plant-based. Absolutely no animal byproduct. And There are plenty of yummy gluten-free options.
