Rathskeller

Celebrated my sister’s birthday with a wonderful outside dinner at the Rathskeller. We tried the butter pretzel which was big and delicious! The RK Salat is also delicious and enough the share. We each got a schnitzel and all enjoyed, which is hard to do with the dietary restrictions in my family. My mom was happy with the gluten free grilled Jager schnitzel and my sister was pleased with the eggplant schnitzel which had complex flavor that are rare to find in restaurant vegetarian options. The service was great and the night was topped off with complimentary birthday Schnapps with our waitress Selina (?) Can’t wait to go back and possibly sit in the historic jail cell!

Absolutely fantastic food and very reasonably priced. A welcome reminder of my time overseas! I intended to post a pic but the whole family dug in before I could even take one :-) And the service was perfect- pleasant and correct. The staff were very knowledgeable about what options were gluten free. Overall, a wonderful experience.
