Despite the gluten free menu shown on their website, it is now out of date and very few options are gluten free (pink menu pictured is what's actually there, not what's on website). Visited April 12 2025 and several food options on menu just not available. Staff are trying hard but just nowhere near enough of them to cope. Chicken was burnt on outside, pink on the inside and dangerous to eat - the staff refunded the meal without fuss but I recommend you cut into your chicken and check before eating. No glasses or water jugs available (insufficient dish staff, I suspect) so we made do with what looked like jam jars to drink from.

You have lost a lot of clients and potential clients through your strange practices. This was just posted on FaceBook: "I had a really disappointing experience at a café yesterday 😥 Online and on their menus they said you had to request the "special menu" if you were vegan or gluten free so I was excited to have more choice but when I got there they pointed out three things that could be made vegan 😭 I ended up getting a salad they said could be vegan and subbed the chicken/haloumi for avo. When I went to pay, they charged me an extra $8 for the avo! I paid $33 for a salad!!! 😠" If the avo was a replacement there should not have been an extra charge (and $33.00 for a salad - really?!!). If you give it any reasonable kind of thought the customer should get a credit for the chicken/haloumi she didn't have. Don't expect too many Vegans or their friends to be supporting your establishment anytime soon. I hope you sleep well at night. Lawrence Bredenkamp
