Husband enjoyed the chilli and ginger scrambled eggs. I did not enjoy the discussion about my refund for a meal labelled gluten free that contained oats. Oats cannot be labelled gf in Australia despite reporting nil gluten, regardless if further down you have labelled the Granola as having oats. I dont want to receive a refund and than be told that it is a waste because they will just chuck it in the bin. It sounded like this has been an issue before for the guy, so maybe just dont label them gf or get your staff to notify people that oats are present. And perhaps drop the attitude?

Avo smash is $20 when gluten free. Literally just avo on toast with a couple small dishes of sambal and tomato chutney. Toast was GF bread straight out the supermarket white bread from the freezer and was soggy rather than toasted. Staff refused to add on a poached egg for extra $. “Set” menu has half the items crossed off permanently. Asked if they had gone vegan or something and was told “yeah something like that.” Then I spotted beef curry on the menu. Staff seem want to be anywhere but here and I can’t blame them. Have heard “Dreams” by Fleetwood 3 times in the last 15 minutes. Don’t know what’s happened here, feel like I’ve entered an alternate reality where service is a dirty word! Used to come here a lot a few years ago but probably won’t be back. Hope they improve things when Mrs Jones opens back up!
