We had a great lunch at the Rectory Farm Kitchen! It was busy, but the service was good and the food was amazing and came out quickly. Our family has a lot of allergies and we don't have a lot of places that we can eat, so it was nice to find somewhere local that was able to accommodate us. They had gluten free bread, which was great because we could eat any of the sandwiches. They also had a selection of gluten free desserts to choose from - the brownies were our favorite! The staff was friendly, and patient, and they were knowledgeable about food allergies and the ingredients in their food. The food was really good, especially the soup of the day. I had the cheese and chutney sandwich, which was excellent. My daughter had the baked goat cheese dish, it looked absolutely amazing! My son has the most food allergies and got the beans on toast, as he often does when we eat out. He said it was delicious and it got his seal of approval! The atmosphere was fun, and very clean, and the staff were all very friendly. There were lots of babies and young children, but there wasn't a lot of noise. There was also a dog while we were there, as well behaved dogs are allowed - we will be sure to go back with our pup. They also have a little shop with bagged goodies, treats, pastas, cheese, bread, and more. We were able to find quite a few fun treats to pick up for later.
