Rectory Farm Tearooms

This is probably one of the most picturesque and beautiful tea rooms I've visited and I've done a few! The tea, coffee and hot chocolates are very very good here, but it's the food that is so special at this tea room. The sandwiches are light and tasty, the cream teas to die for they literally are an idealic texture and size with enough cream to sink a battleship 😅 There is a wide ranging gluten-free menu and cream tea, and they cater very well for intolerances etc. The staff are all lovely and very happy to serve and assist which helps set the atmosphere and experience. The loos are very clean although disabled may have some difficulty getting through in a wheel chair, but not impossible. Overall a fantastic venue to an afternoon tea and a light meal, I've uploaded some pics of the menu to give an idea, but I really do recommend you try this quaint and beautiful place for a tea with family and a walk along the coastline after to work of the calories gained! We had a thoroughly enjoyable experience on our recent visit and were treated amazingly, nothing was too much trouble. It was my husband's 70th birthday and they surprised him with a lit candle and a happy birthday sign on his cake stand and even sung happy birthday to him. It was such a special time especially when other customers joined in singing. A great memory. We have been there several times and always been highly satisfied, and have recommended it to others. Definitely worth a visit, and the food is excellent, especially the gluten free choices.
