We were meeting someone and had never been into Dixon. The Red Apple seems to be a small family restaurant that can seat close to 100. The grill is right behind the counter in full view. The way staff was very attentive.
My veggie skillet had the best hash browns I have ever eaten. It came with eggs your way, fresh mushrooms, onions and peppers and gluten-free toast with real butter and jellies. The beef sandwich au jus was eaten down to the last crumb.
For the Friday clean up, one person carefully washed each picture and wall decoration and rehung them. Two people swept the floor.
Restrooms were clean and smelled great.
