Red Dog Saloon

A must visit bar when visiting Virginia City. The pizza and wings are to die for. Live music was great as well. There are veggie and gluten free options available to order.

So this was the place that kept me from being completely disappointed in Virginia City. So many places, including restaurants were closed after 4. Where was a visitor to eat dinner if spending a night in Virginia City? Well thank you Red Dog Saloon!! The Restaurant had pizza, and gluten free at that! It wasn't the best, but that was okay, because I need something and it was better than nothing! I still can't understand why the restaurants aren't opened until at least 6. Maybe they could take turns being opened until 6 in the off season. Give those visitors a place to grab bite to eat for dinner after every other place closes down for the day. Just a thought.
