I recently visited Philadelphia and stumbled upon Red Hook Cafe. This place is a gem! The first thing that caught my attention was the amazing artwork hanging all over the walls. I learned that they have monthly artist receptions and are continually changing the artwork. When I got to the counter, the staff was friendly and were patient with me and all my questions about their gluten free options. I enjoyed my egg sandwich, especially the avocado which was a perfect ripeness, something I don't see too often. I enjoyed the vibe and the eclectic assortment of customers coming and going. I will be back next time I'm visiting and I highly recommend this establishment!

Overall, I really love this place and they have great gluten free options! Today I tried their gf bagel, which was admittedly very disappointing - the phenomenon of paying more for way less and was not enjoyable in the slightest - but otherwise I’m a fan. Their gf bread is the way to go, v good. The bagel sammies should be served w a side considering the size / cost. Coffee is p standard.
