Have been through here numerous times but never stopped at this lovely cafe and now it’s for sale. Staff made a gluten free sandwich/lunch for one of us as they had already sold out. Nice spacious cafe with free water in the red fridge. There’s also a book swap shelf.
Hope potential new owners can measure up to the good service.

Nice stop on the drive from Nelson to Christchurch. Outdoor seating. Milkshakes were lovely for $7.50, toasted sandwiches on gluten free bread for $8 also good. Don't buy the filled buns from the cabinet as they were very dry bread. Coffee was good.
